Samantha + Shane: Â A small micro-wedding of 20 guests, 2 bridesmaids and a gorgeous Mountain View!9/17/2022 Their Story: “We met in 2017. We have two cats and love to travel. We are outdoorsy people who love to hike. We’ve hiked all around Colorado Springs, including Pikes Peak. Most recently, we went to Juneau, Alaska which is where we got engaged. We looked into getting married in Kansas or Missouri, where we are from, but we feel much more drawn to the mountains. Wedding Details: We started working with Samantha and Shane about a year in advance of their wedding when the reached out to us through our ceremony site report services, which is a written consultation with detailed information about site options that will work with couple’s vision, budget, needs and priorities. They identified their top priorities as having nice fall-colored florals, a mountain view for their ceremony and a private space at a restaurant for their celebration. Check, check and check - we got it covered and see their photos below ⬇️ 🎉 Samantha and Shane chose to exchange vows at Sapphire Point Overlook in Summit County, traveling from Missouri with 20 guests, 2 bridesmaids and 2 groomsmen. They added on our benches for seating. Other than that, their wedding is a great reflection of our standard 3.5-hour intimate wedding package which includes professional photography (and downloadable high-resolution images), bouquet & boutonniere, 2-tiered cake, officiant, my planning and an onsite coordinator. They stayed at the Marriott Residence Inn in Breckenridge which also has a small banquet room in which they hired a personal chef. This is a great option if you are looking for a place to both lodge and dine. Behind the ScenesEver wonder what goes on behind-the-scenes of a micro-wedding day? Jaime L. Barba, one of our talented professional photographers, captured me at work from one of our May 2023 weddings in Boulder, Colorado. Enjoy! .... and yes, she does wedding-day content creation (a great alternative if you cannot afford videography) for couples as well as photography.
Content CreationWhat is a wedding day content creator? It’s someone who is there on your wedding day taking pictures on a cell phone (or in Jaime's case, her professional equipement), documenting behind-the-scenes moments, capturing and telling stories, and delivering short-form media content of your wedding day in real-time. Checkout one from our September 2023 weddings ⬇️.
