Favorite things:  the first sip of coffee, watching a Broncos sunrise, a fall hike in the aspens, nice socks, marathon Netflix (currently watching Schitts Creek), walks with friends, listening to loud music in my car (and pretending I can carry a tune), jogging with my black lab (a rescue), ChocoLove (any and all flavors), my standard outfit (t-shirt, jeans and flip-flops), simmering chili, my son's gut-wrenching laugh, and my house cleaner (life saver!).  My father taught me the deeper your friendships, the taller you grow.  I believe a hot epsom salt bath with essential oils will cure most worries. I believe that fine cheese + crackers + olives + wine is a complete meal should be feasted upon as least once a week.  I believe it is all about quality, and not quantity.  I believe in having experiences rather than stuff.  I believe in living debt-free (and certainly no loans for a wedding!)

Background

Wendee has been coordinating weddings and meetings in Colorado since 1995 when she was an assistant to two wedding coordinators at Keystone Resort.   She spent her mid-career as a continuing medical-education meeting planner, traveling all over the U.S. implementing detailed logistics.  In 2001, Wendee founded her first full-service wedding & event planning company.  Today, Wendee is a high school digital-teacher-librarian, consultant, and planner for small intimate destination weddings (less than 35 guests), micro-weddings & elopements .  She believes in providing high-quality service at an incredible value by doing only small weddings & elopements that are fun and spirited; she believes in doing less, but better.

STEFANIE HOFMEISTER, Onsite Microwedding Coordinator

Stefanie is our adventure, artistic, creative, leave-no-detail undone guru.   She is our onsite coordinator for small weddings, traveling all over the state.  She has never been a 9-5'er and has worked in the event industry for the past 15 in various capacities:  wedding floral, banquet manager, and creating aesthetic elements. Stefanie has been working in the wedding and event industry for 15 years, from offsite catering and floral design to banquet management, calligraphy, and coordinating. She enjoys merging the creative aspects of events with well-planned logistics.  Her favorite part of coordinating intimate weddings is getting to become a part of the family for the day, which inevitably has her shedding a tear at every ceremony.

Originally from Florida, she moved to Colorado in 2011 and never looked back. Elisa Fisher, Day-of Micro-wedding Coordinator

Elisa has been a wedding/elopement photographer for 7+ years and has seamlessly taken on wedding coordination as well. She connects with couples and their families on a personal and genuine level, and getting to support them throughout the wedding day brings her great joy. She brings a sense of positivity, calmness, detailed attention, and empathy that keeps her clients at ease and the day running smoothly.  When she isn't coordinating or photographing a wedding, Elisa spends her time hiking, baking, going to concerts, doing yoga, reading, painting, traveling, and more. Originally from Texas, she now lives in Arvada with her husband, their two cats, and an ever-growing jungle of houseplants.
