Okay, so I am writing this in 2019 and post-dating it back to February of 2011 when I first started offering the intimate wedding package. Yes, for ten years I offered day-of coordinating and full-service wedding planning. I had a great time, but slowly values started to shift. I had my own intimate wedding of 22 people in 2007 and realized that there was a need: even working in the industry, it was had for vendors and venues to understand my vision. I designed the package with the coziness of spending valuable time with close family and friends, being surrounded by nature, and the ability to focus on marriage rather that the "hubbub" and busyness of large weddings.
Melissa and Bill were one of our my clients. We designed a first look at Sapphire Point Overlook with a ceremony in the living room of Ski Tip Lodge - a charming bed and breakfast in Keystone. They then celebrated at ski tip with a dinner in their private dining room. Ski Tip is one of my all-time favorite places: in the late 1800s, it was a stagecoach stop! It is a 10-room long with a 55-seat fine dining (4-course) restaurant. I know it well! I started my career in 1995 as an assistant to two wedding coordinators at Keystone Resort - Ski Tip Lodge is one of their properties. Their wedding was sweet and cozy with parents and Bills kids. Thank you for kicking off a wonderful service that hundreds of couples have utilized in making their small wedding visions come true!
