Thier Story: We grew up in the same small town in northern Ohio. We knew each other growing up, but we didn't start dating until about 3 years ago when we reconnected. We started our relationship doing long distance, but both came back to Ohio after our first year of dating. We are both excited to get married the summer of 2023. I have always wanted a small/destination wedding, and we both love spending time in the mountains (something we don't get enough of in Ohio). We want a wedding focused on the people we love and who love us the most. We simply want a small, beautiful micro-wedding that everyone can enjoy.“ Micro-Wedding Planning: We couldn’t agree more that having an outdoor ceremony with the Colorado mountain as a backdrop is a dreamy setting. We are so glad to have connected with Brooke & Kaleb at around 10-weeks out from their wedidng date through our Cermeony Site Report.. So, yes - if you have a short planning runway, it is possible to have a gorgeou wedding planning experience that is easy. They identified their top priorities as having a scenic mountain views, great photography, and easy stress-free flow ot the day, to have a first-look, accessiblity for elder guests (no hiking, no long walks), and kid-friendly since many of thier family member have kids. Check, check and check! See a sample from their gallery below ⬇️ ⬇️ ⬇️ 🎉 Of course, I’m biased, but I think our Colorado micro-wedding packages in the mountains are picturesque (honestly, we specialize in finding small wedding sites with a view)! Micro-Wedding Day: If you're looking for an intimate wedding adventure, Brooke and Kaleb can inspire you! Their mid-June micro-wedding at Sapphire Point Overlook is the perfect example of how you can make your big day special, even with a small ceremony. Brooke got ready with hair and makeup at a VRBO in Dillon, while a coordinator and photographer arrived for getting ready and detail shots. Meanwhile, another coordinator was setting up benches at the ceremony site. The groom's mother pinned his boutonniere before the couple did a private first look near the overlook area, but on a private part of the trail while the guests were arriving and being seated for the cermeony. The ceremony was incredibly beautiful, with Brooke's dad escorting her down the aisle to "Can't Help Falling in Love" by Brooklyn Cue. After the vows and the kiss, the couple exited to "Grow as we Go" by Ben Platt for Sara Bareilles, followed by some group photos. Guests headed to a restaurant in Dillon to enjoy soem cocktails and hors d'oevures while Brooke and Kaleb finished couple-only photos. We went with them to the restaurant for a cake cutting celebration before the group was seated for dinner. They decided to add-on about a half-hour of photography which enabled us to capture some great shots of their guests enjoying the venue. These two sure know how to throw an unforgettable celebration while staying within their budget, with a Colorado small wedding package that was just perfect for them! Congratulations, lovely couple! You did it - you tied the knot in a stunning micro-wedding surrounded by your nearest and dearest. Now that the stress of wedding planning is behind you, it's time to turn your attention to an equally exciting event: the post-wedding celebration dinner! Here are some tips into the world of planning a fabulous post-wedding celebration dinner at a restaurant, where you can bask in the glow of your newlywed bliss while being treated like royalty. So grab a glass of champagne and get ready to discover all the tips, tricks, and inspiration you need to create an unforgettable night of laughter, love, and delicious food.... more affordably than renting a large expansive unneeded venue. Let's hop on the wedding whirlwind one more time and make your post-wedding celebration outshine even the most elaborate soirées! Choose the perfect restaurant: When it comes to selecting a restaurant, it's essential to ensure that it has the necessary requirements that you’re looking for. Do you want a semi-private dining room, a privat room, or do you want the whole restaurant? Check with your preferred restaurant if they offer private dining at all and what the capacity, distance, and costs will be. Many restaurants have private dining areas that can accommodate up to a certain number of guests, which could help you save a lot of money. After all, you won't have to pay for rentals and won’t need to rent expensive tables or chairs! Simplify the Menu: Simplifying the menu for your guests is a fantastic way to relieve stress when planning your post-wedding celebration dinner. To make everything more manageable, most restaurants offer limited pre-fixed-meals, or even an a la carte menu for private parties. Consider it for your celebration; the last thing you want is to spend time taking in RSVPs and going back and forth with guests about their food preferences. Simplifying the menu also makes service quicker and easier for you and the restaurant staff. Select Entertainment Options: When hosting a small post-wedding celebration dinner, choosing entertainment might be simpler than you think. Remember, it's meant to be a relaxed event. However, the small extras can make all the difference, and we’ve got your back. You could add easy entertainment options such as a DIY photo booth area. Better yet, create a collaborative wedding video or slideshow that guests can watch and enjoy at the end of the meal. These small touches will allow your guests to feel more involved, and you even get a chance to catch up with them. Keep your budget in check: Hosting a small post-wedding celebration dinner is a fantastic way to celebrate with your loved ones while also staying on a budget. It's important to keep your costs to a minimum without compromising on the overall experience. Some special deals are available for private dining events where the restaurant could waive the room rental fees (mid-week weddings or off-season dates). So, if budgeting is a concern for you, consider holding your wedding cermeony dinner on a weekday night when many restaurants have lower prices and specials. Now, more than ever, we understand the importance of celebrating with the people we love. Hosting your post-wedding celebration dinner at a restaurant is not only a budget-friendly option but it's everything you need to wind down after the big day. Remember, it's all about you and your spouse having a good time with your loved ones. Inexpensive rental costs and not having to worry about RSVPs make the experience all the more rewarding. So take a deep breath and book that restaurant!

Behind the ScenesEver wonder what goes on behind-the-scenes of a micro-wedding day? Jaime L. Barba, one of our talented professional photographers, captured me at work from one of our May 2023 weddings in Boulder, Colorado. Enjoy! .... and yes, she does wedding-day content creation (a great alternative if you cannot afford videography) for couples as well as photography.
Content CreationWhat is a wedding day content creator? It’s someone who is there on your wedding day taking pictures on a cell phone (or in Jaime's case, her professional equipement), documenting behind-the-scenes moments, capturing and telling stories, and delivering short-form media content of your wedding day in real-time.
