Their Story: Tyler and Sara met through a mutual friend and became friends themselves. That friendship then led to a deeper connection and relationship. Tyler and Sara live in Iowa, with their 3 daughters. "We decided to get away from our busy lives and celebrate our 2nd anniversary in Colorado back in June of 2021, which was both of our first times in the state. We drove through Grand Lake on our way to Rocky Mountain National Park, and loved the beautiful and serene setting, and said someday we would be back. When we got engaged and started wedding planning, we discussed how we both wanted something small. So we decided that an intimate ceremony in Colorado with just our immediate family and the couple who we are best friends with would be perfect, and we knew that Grand Lake, Colorado was just the place!"  © Andrea Flanagan Photography Micro-Wedding Plans: When Sara and Tyler reached out to us, they knew they wanted to marry in Grand, Lake Colorado. Yes, there are some wedding venues in Grand Lake, but they tend to cater to the larger group. But, we know of a few secret spots to hold a small intimate micro-wedidng or eloopement. So, finding a Grand Lake micro-wedding venue was easy. After a few email, they settled on our 3-hour micro-wedding pacakge in Grand Lake. Then, the next step was to find lodging and a restaurant. We kicked off the day with the excitement of getting ready, followed by heartwarming first-looks with both dad and the groom. From there, we convoyed out to the picturesque Grand Lake, Colorado micro-wedding venue, surrounded by breathtaking lake and mountain views. After a small ceremony and some group photos, we captured some sweet moments with just the couple while the rest of the party enjoyed a delicious dinner at a local restaurant. We wrapped up our services after witnessing the happy couple cut-the-cake and share a toast.
