Taylor + Jacob: A destination micro-wedding in Colorado with 26 closest friends and family10/2/2022 Their Story: “We have been together since high school and have a 3 year old son. We love to travel and going on hikes is one of our favorite things to do! Seeing new things and just taking in new views together!” Taylor and Jacob had always dreamed of a perfect and intimate wedding with their closest friends and family. So when they found Custom Weddings of Colorado's all-inclusive micro-wedding package, they knew it was perfect for them. The package included everything they needed, from the photographer and officiant to the decorations and flowers, that made their wedding day so magical. The couple traveled all the way from Illinois with 26 guests and three bridesmaids to Summit County, Colorado. It was a picturesque backdrop, with scenic views and fresh mountain air, that their guests couldn't stop talking about! 🎉 The big day started with all the bridesmaids getting ready in a rented AirBNB in Breckenridge, with all their dresses and jewelry laid out and ready for the photographers to capture all the details.. Once all the bridesmaids were dressed, they were ready to go! The photographer arrived just as Taylor was finishing her makeup, and the coordination began with some special moment dressing the bride. The groom and groomsmen (along with his mother) met the photographer to pin the boutonnieres. Next was the moment that Taylor and Jacob had been waiting for – their first look. It was a private moment for the couple, with the photographer capturing it all on camera. Taylor looked stunning in her wedding dress and Jacob looked dapper in his suit. The couple shared a few moments together, and then it was time to.... have a little surprise with their 3-year-old son (how cute is that!). And of course we cannot forget a first-look with dad too! Arriving at Sapphire Point was a surreal moment for everyone. The view was breathtaking, with lush greenery and landscape hills in the background. The ceremony site was set perfectly with florals, natural elements like wildflowers and tall grass, all designed to make the couple's ceremony even more magical. Once they arrived, the officiant and groom's party awaited the bride. Each bridesmaid walked down the aisle to the tune of 'Flightless Birds' by a violin/cello cover. Taylor then made her grand entrance, escorted by her father, with the beautiful ‘A Thousand Years’ by Vitamin String Quartet playing in the background. After the exchange of vows, the couple exited to the song 'I would never fall in love again’ by Stephn Sanchez. To keep the logistics easy and the cost down, they opted to have a standing ceremony, which actually lends itself to more intimacy at micro-weddings as all your guests get a "front row" view. After the wedding ceremony, they had a photo session and signed their marriage certificate. The guests were then transported to the vacation house, where they enjoyed pizza/pasta and drinks. Meanwhile, the couple and the wedding party finished taking their pictures at Sapphire Point and around Breckenridge. Once the couple arrived at the vacation house, they shared some words with their guests, cut the ceremonial cake, and shared a lovely dinner. After dinner, the photography and coordination ended, giving the couple and their guests the chance to relax and enjoy the start of their new life together. In conclusion, Taylor and Jacob's microwedding in Colorado was a beautiful and intimate celebration of their love. Custom Weddings of Colorado's all-inclusive microwedding package offered everything they needed, from photography to wedding coordination, to make their special day effortless and memorable. Summit County, Colorado, provided the perfect backdrop for their ceremony, with the breathtaking views just enhancing the special moments. If you're considering a microwedding, Custom Weddings of Colorado offers an exceptional package that is worth exploring.

Behind the ScenesEver wonder what goes on behind-the-scenes of a micro-wedding day? Jaime L. Barba, one of our talented professional photographers, captured me at work from one of our May 2023 weddings in Boulder, Colorado. Enjoy! .... and yes, she does wedding-day content creation (a great alternative if you cannot afford videography) for couples as well as photography.
Content CreationWhat is a wedding day content creator? It’s someone who is there on your wedding day taking pictures on a cell phone (or in Jaime's case, her professional equipement), documenting behind-the-scenes moments, capturing and telling stories, and delivering short-form media content of your wedding day in real-time.
