Their Story: We live in the Atlanta area, but grew up in different states. I grew up in Mississippi and Tharkun grew up in Washington. We wanted a small destination wedding in Colorado for a several reasons. We are low key, simple people. We didn't want to plan a big expensive wedding because it doesn’t reflect our values or how we like to spend our money and time. We both love the outdoors and the mountains and really love Colorado. We’ve visited over the years and think it’s a special place. We are active, busy people and value our time, energy and resources which is why a big wedding just isn’t appealing to us.” Wedding Details: being a fall wedding, the couple chose deep jewel toned colors which looked amazing against yellow aspens and clear mountain skies. Their ceremony site was at a secret park in Summit County, not well known or on any GPS, so though "rogue", it felt like their own mountain backyard. After the group photos, they celebrated in a private room at a restaurant located in Frisco, Colorado.
