Their Story: Kevin and Erin met at work about 6 years ago. They both are in the health industry and enjoy the outdoors, hiking, traveling, and exploring the beauty of Colorado. They decided to have a small mountain wedding so they could enjoy one of their favorite places, Breckenridge, with their favorite people! Microwedding Details: Erin and Kevin found one of our galleries (Ina + Kyle) online when searching on how to plan a microwedding in Colorado. There were a few emails about the package, and that was all it took before we were putting together their fabulous wedding plans, complete with logistics, recommendations, photographer, florals and cake; they did bring their own officiant. After getting ready, there was a bit of time to do pre-wedding toasts with her brother. Erin & Kevin decided not to do a first-look, so we allowed for a few more photos around the ceremony area with jus the couple before heading to the restaurant in Breckenridge for cheers, cake, celebrations and dinner. What part about their gallery do you like best? More Tips and Ideas: If you would like to plan a wedding at Sapphire Point, located in the middle of world-renowned ski resorts, please read this article about how to plan a microwedding at this incredible gorgeous ceremony spot. It covers the pros, cons, what to know about booking, and regulations. Our base packages at this site start at $4,800 (3.5 hours); you can checkout our price estimator for additions (benches, extra time, centerpieces, etc.) Because Sapphire Point Overlook is centrally located, there are many options for lodging and restaurants. Though Breckenridge tends to be the most well-known, secretly.... we like Frisco and Dillon. Erin and Kevin stayed at a condo in Dillon, but went for dinner in Breckenridge. There are some other FANTASTIC restaurants in Dillon, Frisco and Silverthorne that we can recommend so that your logistics are all lined up to be effortless. Our packages are created to make your planning process to be easy and your wedding day to be fun: we work behind-the-scenes and include planning, professional photographer, florals, cake, officiants, and an onsite coordinator (pickups/deliveries, music). Be sure to connect with Wendee to get your micro-wedding package customized, whether it is at Sapphire Point or at any other gorgeous spot in the Colorado mountains. Behind the ScenesEver wonder what goes on behind-the-scenes of a micro-wedding day? Jaime L. Barba, one of our talented professional photographers, captured me at work from one of our May 2023 weddings in Boulder, Colorado. Enjoy! .... and yes, she does wedding-day content creation (a great alternative if you cannot afford videography) for couples as well as photography.
Content CreationWhat is a wedding day content creator? It’s someone who is there on your wedding day taking pictures on a cell phone (or in Jaime's case, her professional equipement), documenting behind-the-scenes moments, capturing and telling stories, and delivering short-form media content of your wedding day in real-time.
