Intimate Winter Wedding in Colorado | Breckenridge, March 2019
Their story: "We met at the bank where Gavin works, and I happened to know his dad. Eventually after a few months he asked me out on Valentines Day and the rest is history. We love to do anything outdoors, in particular hike and bike. We both enjoy downhill and cross country skiing. We love to spend time with our dog as well. We are both pretty casual, not fancy people. We chose Colorado because we love the mountains and it would give us an opportunity to have a wedding in the mountains, and since we live in Alaska, be closer for our family to travel.”
Wedding details: We started working with Christy and Gavin by doing a ceremony site report for them. When, it was important from them to have other activities (besides skiing) for family to do, like art galleries, shopping, etc., ... and also amazing mountain views, we knew that Summit County Colorado fit the bill! Their small group of 20 people ended up staying at a vacation home in Breckenridge. After the outdoors ceremony, they celebrated at a restaurant in town that features a mostly private dining room.
