Their story: “We met through a good friend of mine. We were getting together to watch a KSU football game at a local brewery and she brought him knowing I was going to be there. From the beginning it was always fun and adventurous. We love to travel! Within our first few months of dating we took a trip to Vail Colorado. It was his first time to Colorado and it left a mark on us - trip we will never forget. We are always looking for our next adventure. Most recently he proposed to me on our last trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. So, since it was an adventure that was the proposal we want it to be an adventure for our wedding. We chose Colorado as it was our first vacation together and it is somewhere we both love. The outdoors brings out the best in everyone and we look forward to the adventure with one another!"

A huge priority was the ability to have not only an outdoor ceremony, but also an outdoor reception since that is so core to their personalities. For a summer wedding, the vibrancy of their colors is perfect in an outdoor setting. Honestly, we love it when the colors go beyond "blush and beige" because it makes the photos more dynamic. Shannon added on a few special touches - a hair comb and Mason jar arrangements to the centerpieces. Not to mention - the cake flavors were also a taste of summer: lemon mousse on the topi tier and strawberry mousse for the bottom tier. We want to go to this wedding!
