Sheila + Nick
Maroon Bells Microwedding in Aspen, Colorado | September 2018
Their story: "Our first date included a mountain bike crash and stitches! Our connection was clear from the start and had great promise for the future! We continued to build a relationship of love and trust that is second to none, overcoming life challenges and enjoying amazing adventures. From mountain biking and hiking to skiing and surfing we love living life together and are so excited to be getting married in Aspen... where we went on one of our first adventures!"
Wedding details: A “rouge” mountain wedding isn’t for every couple. But, for the adventurous Shiela and Nick - its PERFECT! Planning weddings at the Maroon Bells, if you don’t have the amphitheater booked, can be a little tricky. We waited until after you can drive in through the gates (instead of taking the required shuttle). There is a secret secluded spot off of a trail where you and your guests can gather around to do an exchange of vows. After the cermeony, guests returned to Aspen to celebrate at a restaurant featuring an outdoor patio. As Van Morrison sings, “There’ll be days like this!"
