Nicole + Scott
Rocky Mountain National Park Small Intimate Wedding | Estes Park, Colorado in July 2020
Their story: “We met going to college at Missouri S&T. We love traveling and seeing new places. We are not very extravagant people and want a simple wedding that both of us can enjoy with each other and our closest friends and family. We are not religious and are wanting a non-traditional wedding.”
Wedding details: A couple of Nicole and Scott's priorities were to have their destination wedding celebration be close to activities like hiking, restaurants and a cute mountain town. They also wanted to have a friend officiate the ceremony - which is totally legal in Colorado. Thus, Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park was "THE" spot. Little did we know COVID would send a curve-ball. With 18 guests, and 8 of them being bridesmaids/men and groomsmen/woman, we made it work while still abiding by local guidelines. They rented a vacation house and ordered take-out.... not what we originally planned, but it ended up being the perfect way to celebrate. Their group had so much fun that we actually did a wedding the following year in 2021 for Kara + Matt (in their wedding party).
