Their Story: "We both had difficulty finding the perfect blend of our adventurous, outdoorsy lifestyles – getting rough & rugged in the wild but also liking our well-groomed date nights with delicious cuisine, a good Malbec and some beautiful city landscapes in the Twin Cities! We both have high energy & positive personalities. We have always been told that we are constantly smiling or laughing. So when we met for our first date, it wasn’t that surprising that our date lasted 7 hours! One year and 1 day later, we exchanged vows in the mountains near a lake thanks to Custom Weddings of Colorado!!
We met just after a global pandemic started and dated throughout it… We have had job transitions and job losses. We have experienced a lot of life’s ups and downs (we prefer to call them “adventures”) in a short amount of time. A pandemic can really speed up the dating process! We decided to keep things safe & simple during a time of health & financial uncertainty for us and our families, so we decided to elope to a beautiful outdoor destination & bring our immediate families along! A destination wedding is a great way to have a simple and beautiful scenic ceremony with the added bonus of cutting out extra costs & including the people who have been the most supportive of us in our short time of dating!”
