Their story: “Shane and I met 2 years ago and fell in love at a Halloween party. We recently bought and renovated our first house together and have 3 rescue dogs. Some of our favorite things to do together are go out for breakfast, ride motorcycles, and go on little road trips. We decided on a small mountain wedding because it is like our relationship - intimate and personal. I didn't want to do a big wedding and have to worry about other people on our special day.”
Wedding details: This is one of the best places to elope in Colorado, and Lena and Shane did it with our most basic of elopement packages - perfect if you want something simple and easy! The "Marry Now, Party Later" package is just that - we meet you at the elopement site (in their case, at a gorgeous mountain trailhead easily accessible with a lake and waterfall) with the bouquet, boutonniere, cake, photographer and officiant. We perform a small ceremony and pop some bubbly. And yes, you can bring up to #6 guests to witness. Then, there is still enough time to roam the area for scenic post-wedding photos.
