Wedding Attire and Attendants: bridesmaids & groomsmen
The first place to look for inspiration when selecting your wedding attire is your venue and the time-of-day of your wedding. There is no sense in wearing an elegant ball gown to a dinner wagon ride wedding in the mountains.
For Colorado weddings it is especially important to consider mobility and weather. Make sure that if your are taking a gondola or ski lift to the top of the mountain your shoes are comfortable and that you can move around in your dress easily - the same is true for your attendants. To prepare for drastic weather changes, make sure to carry umbrellas, shawls and have one of your bridesmaids learn how to attach and take-out your veil on a moments notice (due to weather/wind).
Finally, if you are working within a budget, consider alternative sources for purchasing your wedding dress. Department stores such a Dillards often carry an online formals department. For the guys, instead of renting tuxes, consider buying them a suit which is often the same price and you can use it as a wedding gift for them.
